Ebsulfur is a benzisothiazolone cytocidal inhibitor targeting the trypanothione reductase ( TryR ) of Trypanosoma brucei , with IC 50 values of 61-293 nM for Trypanosoma brucei . Ebsulfur can be used for the research of African trypanosomiasis.
