Overview

JX237 is an inhibitor of the epithelial neutral amino acid transporter B 0 AT1 ( SLC6A19 ) with an IC 50 value of 31 nM. SLC6A19 is the main transporter for the absorption of neutral amino acids in the intestines and their reabsorption in the kidneys. By inhibiting B 0 AT1, JX237 can be used for the study of disorders of amino acid metabolism.
