Overview

Racecadotril (Acetorphan) is a neutral endopeptidase ( NEP ) inhibitor. Racecadotril and its active metabolite Thiorphan inhibits purified NEP activity from mouse brain with K i s of 4500 and 6.1 nM, , respectively. Antidiarrheal agent.
