BAL-30072, a siderophore sulfactam, is a monocyclic beta-lactam antibiotic , with activity against multiresistant gram-negative bacilli . BAL30072 shows MIC 90 values of 4 μg/mL for MDR Acinetobacter spp. and 8 μg/mL for MDR P. aeruginosa , respectively.
