Overview

Methyl deacetylasperulosidate (6α-Hydroxygeniposide; Deacetylasperulosidic acid methyl ester) is an iridoid compound that acts as a laxative agent with blood glucose-lowering activity. It induces a laxative effect in mice and lowers blood glucose levels in normal mice.
