Overview

Fissistigine A is an alkaloid separated of the basic fractions from Formosan Fissistigma glaucescens, F. oldhamii and Goniothalamus amuyon. Fissistigine A has a weak inhibitory effect on amyloid beta 42 aggregation (IC 50 50 µM).
