| Description | Benyltrichlorosilane is in the form of a colorless liquid. Its boiling temperature is 218-220°C and has a density of 1.273 g/mL at 25°C.1 As a halogenated silane compound, benzyltrichlorosilane can be used for the treatment of papermaking fibers.2 As a silane, it can be used for the synthesis of silicon containing organic compounds.
