(S)-pMeO-Bz-SF , the S isomer of pMeO-Bz-SF ( HY-184117A ), is a potent covalent serine hydrolase inhibitor with an α-chymotrypsin IC 50 of 2.965 μM. (S)-pMeO-Bz-SF covalently modifies α-chymotrypsin residues Ser195, Tyr146, and Ser190. (S)-pMeO-Bz-SF exhibits stereoselective inhibitory activity against α-chymotrypsin.
