Overview

N-[[P (S)]-2'-C-Methyl-P-phenyl-5'-uridylyl]-L-Ala-1-methylethyl ester is a 5'(S)-C-methyl phosphoramidate prodrug of 2',5'-C-dimethyluridine, as well as a HCV inhibitor. N-[[P (S)]-2'-C-Methyl-P-phenyl-5'-uridylyl]-L-Ala-1-methylethyl ester induces anti- HCV activity in HCV genotype 1b replicons with extremely low cytotoxicity. N-[[P (S)]-2'-C-Methyl-P-phenyl-5'-uridylyl]-L-Ala-1-methylethyl ester can be used in studies related to HCV infection .
