G-25671 is a platelet cyclooxygenase ( COX ) inhibitor ( K i = 4.5 μM) and uricosuric agent, as well as the active metabolite of Sulfinpyrazone ( HY-B1271 ). G-25671 reduces the production of thromboxane B 2 and malondialdehyde from arachidonic acid (AA), and inhibits human platelet aggregation induced by Sodium arachidonate ( HY-109590A ). G-25671 can be used in gout-related research.
