Quoromycin

Overview

Quoromycin is an orally active SmcR inhibitor with a K d of 0.697 μM for Vibrio vulnificus SmcR . Quoromycin binds directly to SmcR , reduces its DNA-binding affinity, and inhibits the quorum sensing signaling pathway. Quoromycin is applicable to the research of Vibrio vulnificus infection .
