Lipid 88 is an ionizable lipid used in lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for mRNA delivery. LNPs containing lipid 88 and SARS-CoV-2 spike glycoprotein mRNA enhance immune responses, increase T cell populations, and protect against viral infection in mouse and hamster models.
