Overview

PON-PC is an oxidized phospholipid with a truncated aldehyde-terminated sn-2 chain. Found in oxidized LDL and pulmonary surfactant, it modulates macrophage activity and is elevated in cigarette smoke exposure and aging-related lung conditions.
