tert-Butyl 3-(2-(2-(2-iodoethoxy)ethoxy)ethoxy)propanoate is a PEG linker with an iodine group and a t-butyl ester. The iodine (I) acts as a very good leaving group for nucleophilic substitution reactions. The t-butyl ester groups can be deprotected under acidic conditions.
