DBCO-SS-aldehyde

Overview

DBCO-SS-aldehyde is a cleavable, heterobifunctional linker featuring a DBCO moiety for catalyst-free strain-promoted azide–alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) and an aldehyde group for oxime or hydrazone ligation. The DBCO group is thermally stable and highly selective for azides, yielding stable triazoles rapidly and efficiently under physiological conditions without reacting with native amines or hydroxyls. This bioorthogonality makes it ideal for live-cell and in vivo applications, including protein labeling, localization tracking, activity monitoring, nucleic acid immobilization, and lipid tagging.
