TR X NHS ester, 5-isomer

Overview

TR X NHS ester, 5-isomer is a Texas Red (TR) sulfo-analog of a ROX dye due to similar spectral properties. TR X NHS ester has a 6 carbon linker, which provides spacing between the fluorophore and the biomolecule, to prevent undesired interactions. The NHS esters can react specifically and efficiently with primary amines such as the side chain of lysine residue or aminosilane-coated surfaces at neutral or slight basic conditions to form a covalent bond.
