Lysopc(26:0) is a biomarker for X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy (X-ALD). C26:0-lysoPC in dried blood spots is a sensitive and useful marker for very long-chain fatty acid (VLCFA) accumulation in patients with Zellweger spectrum disorders.
