Doxorubicin

Overview

Doxorubicin (Hydroxydaunorubicin) is a broad-spectrum anthracycline chemotherapy agent with intrinsic fluorescence, widely used in cancer research and therapy. It inhibits topoisomerase II (IC50 = 2.67 μM) and topoisomerase I (IC50 = 0.8 μM), blocking DNA replication, reducing AMPK signaling, and inducing apoptosis and autophagy.
