Duocarmycin SA

Overview

Duocarmycin SA is an orally bioavailable antitumor antibiotic with picomolar potency (IC₅₀ = 10 pM). It acts as an irreversible, sequence-selective DNA minor groove alkylator, inducing cytotoxicity through covalent DNA modification. Duocarmycin SA exhibits synergistic effects with proton radiation in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) cells in vitro.
