Myriocin is a potent immunosuppressant derived from Mycelia sterilia, exhibiting 10- to 100-fold greater activity than cyclosporin A. It inhibits serine palmitoyltransferase (Ki = 0.28 nM), disrupts melanoma cell adhesion, and suppresses T cell proliferation and HCV replication.
