Overview

1-Palmitoyl-2-arachidoyllecithin is a phospholipid with both saturated and unsaturated fatty acids attached by glycerol to the phosphate head. The sn-1 position contains saturated palmitic acid while the sn-2 position is made of highly unsaturated fatty acid (arachidonic acid).
