| O-PHOSPHO-L-THREONINE Usage And Synthesis |
| Biochem/physiol Actions | O-Phospho-L-threonine is an amino acid derivative. | | Purification Methods | Dissolve the phosphate in the minimum volume of H2O, add charcoal, stir for a few minutes, filter and apply onto a column of Dowex 50W (H+ form), then elute with 2N HCl. Evaporate the eluates under reduced pressure whereby the desired fraction produces crystals of the phosphate which can be recrystallised from H2O/MeOH mixtures and the crystals are then dried in vacuo over P2O5 at ~80o.
