Biochem/physiol Actions	Y2/Y5 Neuropeptide Y receptor agonist. Human peptide YY (PYY) has roles in energy homeostasis, food ingestion, gut motility and insulin secretion. The protein suppresses appetite. It has been associated with obesity and type 2 diabetes.
