Biochem/physiol Actions	8(14)-dehydrocholesterol is a cholestadienol. The free radical oxidation leads to abstraction of hydrogen at the bis-allylic positions leading to formation of D7-3,5-dihydroxycholest-7-en-6-one (DHCEO).
