Uses	Ethynyl p-tolyl sulfone (Tosylacetylene) may be used in the synthesis of 2-(4-methylphenylsulfonyl)ethenyl (tosvinyl, Tsv) protected derivatives. It may be used as starting reagent for the synthesis of optically active indan-2-ols.
