DescriptionPOPG; PG(16:0/18:1), also known as 1-Palmitoyl-2-oleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoglycerol, is a phospholipid with phosphate group attached to glycerol. The tails consist of saturated fatty acid (palmitic acid/16:0) and unsaturated fatty acid (oleic acid/18:1).
Uses16:0-18:1 PG has been used in liposome preparation. It is suitable for use as a component in monoolein to treat purified β2-adrenergic receptor (β2AR)-T4 lysozyme (T4L)- Gαs α5 helix (GsCT)-CC?chimera?protein and in lipid vesicle preparation.
