| Uses | Acetic Anhydride-13C4,d6 is an isotopically labelled analog of Acetic Anhydride(A161580), which is a useful synthetic intermediate used in the production of Aspirin(A187780), which is prepared by the acetylation of salicylic acid(S088125). This labelled compound has been used to map out the proteome of E. coli and the development of a readout strategy for endogenous histone deacetylases, which are important drug targets, and relates to the study of tumor suppression protein p53. |
