In diseases such as Cushing′s syndrome, adrenal-originated hyperandrogenism, and congenital adrenal hyperplasia, plasma 11β levels are very high. Plasma 11β concentration is very low in congenital 11-hydroxylase deficiency and adrenal insufficiency. |
