| Uses | Heart CA has been used in the Mycobacterium lipid extraction and in β- Hexosaminidase release and calcium mobilization assays. It maybe used for liposome synthesis. It may also be used as a lipid standard for the in situ analysis and characterization of cardiolipins. | | Uses | Heart CA has been used as a standard stock solution for its quantitative analysis using liquid chromatography?mass spectrometry (LC-MS)/MS. It has also been used for liposome preparation. | | General Description | Cardiolipin is a phospholipid found in the inner membrane of the mitochondria. It is synthesized from phosphatidylglycerol and cytidinediphosphate-diacylglycerol.
