  1. Endoperoxide synthesis by photocatalytic aerobic [2+2+2] cycloadditions.
  2. Aerobic oxidation of a tertiary aliphatic amine under visible-light photocatalysis. Facile synthesis of methylenebridged bis-1,3-dicarbonyl compounds.
  3. Hydrophosphinylation of unactivated alkenes with secondary phosphine oxides under visible-light photocatalysis.
  4. Photooxygenation of aryl cyclopropanes via visible light photocatalysis.
Uses[Ru(bpz)3][PF6]2 may be employed as a photocatalyst during the preparation of cyclopentylamine derivatives, via visible light-assisted cycloaddition reaction of N-arylcyclopropylamines with styrene derivatives. It may also be employed for the photocatalytic synthesis of trans-substituted cyclohexene derivative.
