  2. Ruthenium catalyzed enantioselective synthesis of β amino acids by hydrogenation.
  3. Ruthenium catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation of 3-quinuclidinone.
Uses(R)-[(RuCl(DM-SEGPHOS?)2(μ-Cl)3][NH2Me2] can be used as a catalyst for the asymmetric hydrogenation of ketones to chiral alcohols. It can also be utilized to prepare (R)-methyl-3-hydroxybutanoate from methyl acetoacetate via stereoselective hydrogenation reaction.
