  1. Useful catalyst for the Diels-Alder reaction.
  2. Excellent catalyst for the Friedel-Crafts acylations in ionic liquids, or solvent free.
  3. Active catalyst for the ring-opening of cyclopropanes.
  4. Used in the asymmetric Friedel-Crafts reaction of pyrroles and acrylates. 
UsesZinc bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide is used as a Catalyst for Enantioselective Friedel-Crafts alkylation of pyrroles with β-CF3 acrylates, Stereoselective Diels-Alder reaction, Tandem cyclopropane ring-opening / Conia-ene cyclization Aromatic nitration.
