Uses	[EMIM][MS] may be used as a solvent to synthesize gold nanoparticles via reduction of gold(III) chloride trihydrate [HAuCl₄.3H₂O] using glycerol as a reducing agent.
General Description	1-Ethyl-3-methylimidazolium methyl sulfate [EMIM][MS] when added as an eluent modifier to the mobile phase results in better separation of the three positional isomers of benzoic acid by reversed-phase (RP) high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
