General Description1-Adamantanecarbonyl chloride on reaction with triethylammonium isopropylphosphite forms mixed anhydride, an efficient capping reagent for the hydrogen-phosphonate DNA synthesis. It is a good substrate for Friedel–Crafts acylation of anisole in the presence of indium metal.
