UsesResorcinol diglycidyl ether is made by the reaction of epichlorohydrin and resorcinol in the presence of caustic. It is suggested for use as an epoxy resin, as a stabilizer of organic chemicals, as a curing agent for “Thiokol” rubber, and for the solubilizing of protein adhesives.
