Uses	Silver Diethyldithiocarbamate is useful in the colorimetric determination of arsenic and the introduction of the diethyldithiocarbamato ligand. Silver diethyldithiocarbamate is also useful as a copper chelator. Dyes and metabolites.
General Description	Silver diethyldithiocarbamate (silver (I) N,N-diethyldithiocarbamate) is a silver salt. Its crystals exhibit monoclinic crystal system and space group P2_c.
Biochem/physiol Actions	Inhibits induction of macrophage nitric oxide synthase.
Purification Methods	Purify it by recrystallisation from pyridine or CO2. Store it in a desiccator in a cool and dark place. [Beilstein 4 III 224, 4 IV 391.]
