Uses	2,8-Dichloroquinoline may be used in the neat synthesis of 8-chloro-2-(thiophen-2-ylsulfanyl)quinolone. It may also be used in the preparation of 2-methyl-4-[-2′-(8′-chloroquinolyl)]-but-3-yn-2-ol.
General Description	2,8-Dichloroquinoline can be synthesized from the reaction between 8-chloroquinoline-N-oxide and phosphoryl trichloride.
