The cytochalasins act by disrupting actin microfilaments and these effects are most noticeable by the inhibition of cell division. | | Uses | Cytochalasin C, a fungal metabolite, is an analog of Cytochalasin D (C998700), an anti-hypertensive drug acting on human intestinal epithelial caco-2 cells.
