Uses	Tetrachlorothiophene was used in the preparation of 3,4,5-trichloro-2-thiophenecarbonyl chloride.
Safety Profile	Poison by ingestion, skin contact, intravenous, and intraperitoneal routes. Moderately toxic by inhalation. Combustible when exposed to heat or flame. When heated to decomposition it emits very toxic fumes of Cland SOx.
