Uses	1,3,5-Triphenylbenzene fluorophore as a selective Cu2+ sensor in aqueous media.
Purification Methods	Purify it by chromatography on alumina using *benzene or pet ether as eluents. Crystallise the triphenylbenzene from EtOH (m 174o). [Beilstein 5 H 737, 5 I 370, 5 II 670, 5 III 2563, 5 IV 2732.]
