Chemical Properties	dark gray powder(s), a=0.2817nm, c=1.4059 nm; can be prepared by reacting Li2CO3 or LiOH·H2O with CoCO3 at 850°C–900°C for 24 h in air; used in ceramics and as an insertion electrode in Li battery systems; has fluxing properties of lithium oxide, and enhances adhesion similar to cobalt oxide [HAW93] [STR93] [DAH90] [GUM92]
