Description	Azido-PEG8-amine is a aqueous soluble heterobifunctional reagent consisting of an azide group and a free amine group. The azide group enables Click Chemistry. The amine group is reactive with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters.
Uses	O-(2-Aminoethyl)-O′-(2-azidoethyl)heptaethylene glycol may be used for the surface functionalization of bicompartmental poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) fibers and particles via surface-selective click chemistry for synthesizing spatioselectively modified particles and fibers that can be employed in various biomedical applications.
