| Uses | Potassium hexafluorotitanate is used as analytical reagent, alloying additive, flame retardant and flux agent for casting. It is also used in the manufacture of titanium acid and aluminum alloys containing titanium. It is also employed in metal surface treatment and finishing, detergent applications and dental impression molding. Further, it is used as a catalyst for polypropylene synthesis. In addition to this, it is used in the extraction-refining-processing of metals, electrical-electronics engineering, textile processing and in ceramics-glass industries. |
