Description	Tos-PEG5-Tos is a PEG linker containing two tosyl groups. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. The tosyl group is a very good leaving group for nucleophilic substitution reactions.
Uses	Tetraethylene glycol di(p-toluenesulfonate) was used in the preparation of donor-spacer-acceptor podand system, dual channel fluorosensor for Li⁺, Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺.
