Risedronate acid

Overview

Risedronate acid is a bisphosphonate medication primarily used to treat and prevent osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and men, as well as to manage Paget's disease of bone and glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis. It works by inhibiting bone resorption, thereby increasing bone density and reducing the risk of fractures.
