PEG5-Ms

Overview

PEG5-Ms is a PEG linker with a mesyl group and a hydroxyl group. The mesyl group is good leaving groups but can also be used as protecting groups for primary alcohols. They can be deprotected in the presence of sodium amalgam. The hydroxyl group can react to further derivatize the compound.
