DSPE-succinic acid is a phospholipid compound with two 18-carbon lipid tails and a phosphate joined by a glycerol molecule. The molecule can self-assemble in water to form lipid bilayer with hydrophobic tails facing the inner area an d hydrophilic head facing outward interacting with water. The compound can be used to prepare nanoparticles or liposomes for drug nanocarrier to deliver therapeutics, such as mRNA/DNA vaccine. The carboxylic acid moiety is reactive with amine in the presence of activating agent, such as HATU or EDC, to from a stable amide linkage. Please contact us for GMP-grade inquiries.
