Zoniporide

Overview

Zoniporide (CP-597396) is a potent and selective NHE-1 inhibitor with cardioprotective activity. Zoniporide inhibits 22 Na + uptake by human NHE-1 -expressing fibroblasts in a concentration-dependent manner ( IC 50 =14 nM). Zoniporide inhibits platelet swelling in vitro with an IC 50 of 0.059 μM. Zoniporide can be used in the study of cardiovascular disease .
