Overview

(Rac)-Sezolamide (MK-927 (free base); (Rac)-MK 417 (free base)) is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor (CAI) ( K i : 12.0 nM). (Rac)-Sezolamide has a topical intraocular pressure (IOP) lowering effect. (Rac)-Sezolamide can be used in glaucoma research.
