Dexecadotril (Retorphan) is a powerful and selective neprilysin (NEP) inhibitor. Dexecadotril is a prodrug of the R-enantiomers of Thiorphan ( HY-W013375 ). Dexecadotril shows intestinal antisecretatory action.
